Sew Queer
Sew Queer is a monthly stitch social for LGBTQIA+ folks in Huddersfield.
This is a non-taught session for you to bring your own project and craft alongside others. Hosted by our co-founder Kim (she/her), who is passionate about creating safe spaces for queer folks that are social and don’t just revolve around bar culture! (Please note: this is for 18+ only – there is a provision for LGBTQIA+ youth via the Brunswick Centre).
Venue: our Textiles Hub, in Huddersfield Piazza.
Refreshments: tea and coffee available from the lounge area.
Cost: As a social enterprise, we ask for a minimum donation of £2 to help us cover our running costs (payable on the night).
Accessibility: The space has level access, however the toilets are upstairs.
