Local Filmmaker’s Powerful Message Against Knife Crime
A powerful new short film, produced by Sam Teale Productions, premiered in Batley last night, highlighting the pressing issue of knife crime. The film, called

From taking over Huddersfield’s town centre and turning it into a haven of geek culture, with everything from vintage comic books to pop culture icons at the Get Your Geek On: Huddersfield Comic-Con, to hunting around the town to find specially crafted and strategically placed Lego for children and their grown-ups to enjoy on the Lego Trail.
With some of the North’s best independent venues and a thriving student population, Huddersfield has a fantastic nighttime economy with plenty of smaller-scale events to keep you entertained. You’ll also find a plethora of community events including fairs, clubs, workshops and exhibitions.
