Cliffe House

Embrace a new challenge and get back to nature at Cliffe House, the popular outdoor pursuits centre in the hills above Huddersfield. Set in 10 acres of beautiful gardens, on-site activities include archery, a climbing wall, bush craft, building campfires and mud walks through rivers. Cliffe House offers tailor-made residential and non-residential outdoor experiences and events for schools, groups, businesses, individuals and the local community. Experienced activity leaders are on hand, organising challenges to build confidence, self-esteem, teamwork and independence.

The woodland adventure playground is open to the public with treetop walkways and zip wires – it will keep even the most active of children happy and entertained. There’s a café on site for refreshments after all that fresh air and exercise.

Cliffe House also hosts a Seniors Social and Activity Club, the Sapling Adventure Club for nature play, community lunches and family activities and events in school holidays.
