The best restaurants, cafes, bars and local producers in Huddersfield will be celebrated in the new Eat Drink Huddersfield Guide. And thanks to a partnership with Huddersfield BID, the guide will be complemented by Huddersfield’s the first ever Restaurant Week.
The guide will be launched in October with 20,000 copies distributed to participating venues and visitor destinations across the district. The Restaurant Week, which launches in March 2021, will see venues offering up special dine in offers priced at either £5, £10 or £15 per person.
Publishers Out of Place Studio said, “The guide is designed to help celebrate our incredible local food & drink scene at a challenging time for the industry. We want to encourage residents and visitors to discover the amazing things on their doorstep and support these businesses.”
“The success of the Eat Out to Help Out scheme has shown people have a huge appetite for a great offer and we believe the Restaurant Week will provide a well-timed boost for those involved and a great opportunity for people to try out new places.”
“We’ve also developed a fantastic digital offer with promotions and offers running throughout the year, adding value for our readers and the venues.”
Over 60 venues will be included in this year’s guide which features neatly-designed profile pages packed with useful information and photography. The guide will also include a visitor map, exclusive features and foodie tips.
As part of their partnership agreement, businesses within the BID boundary will benefit from a significant discount on their profile, with featured venues benefitting from a whole range of benefits and promotional opportunities over the course of the year.
Venues already confirmed for the guide include Arcade Coffee, Coffevolution, Sons of the North, Om Is Where The Heart Is and Wired Coffee & Cake.
The guide is the first in the Eat Drink Huddersfield series. Eat Drink Guides also publish guides in Ilkley, Harrogate and Bradford.
