Whether you are a beginner or a more experienced family history researcher, or maybe interested in local history, there will be something for everyone.
All the different societies and organisations that attend these events are very keen and willing to help with advice and guidance on what to look for and where to look, offering helpful hints and tips based on their own personal experiences.
The Huddersfield and District Family History Society will have our own researchers, society members and committee members on hand, to help and advise. The researchers will have computers at hand for anyone who would like to have a search done on the day. The Society will also have the full range of transcribed Parish Register & Census booklets and CDs available to buy.
The Masonic Hall has a free car park with access for the disabled into the rear of the building. There is also nearby on-street parking. Refreshments will be available throughout the day in a comfortable bar area.
