'Stars That Bloom' - New Mill Male Voice Choir with guest Ann Wilkes

STARS THAT BLOOM: NEW MILL MALE VOICE CHOIR
New Mill Male Voice Choir are delighted to host soprano Ann Wilkes in ‘Stars That Bloom’, in support of local charity, Forget Me Not Children’s Hospice.

Together we will celebrate the best in sung music, including classics, show tunes, folk songs and evergreen hits, bringing together the power and range of the male voice choir with the Ann’s bright voice.

The title is taken from the poem ‘Forget Me Not’, written by 16-year-old African-American, Ann Plato, in 1841.

“When the bright moon dispels the gloom,
And various are the stars that bloom,
And brighten as the sun at noon,
Forget me not.”
