Stand Up For The Kirkwood Comedy Night

Give the gift of giggles this year and join us for an unmissable night of top-tier comedy at Huddersfield Town Hall on Saturday, 16th March 2024. Stand Up for The Kirkwood is set to be an evening of side-splitting laughter, featuring some of the UK’s finest comedians, all in support of The Kirkwood.

This is no ordinary comedy night, we’ve pulled out all the stops to bring you a line up worthy of one of Kirklees's grandest stages.

Performing on the night is:

Stephen Bailey: Having performed on Live at the Apollo, Would I Lie to You and Strictly: It Takes Two. Stephen is one of the UK’s most in demand comedians. His quick wit and cheeky charm will have you crying with laughter.

Scott Bennett: Coming off the back of his hilarious Royal Variety Performance, Scott has also performed on BBC Radio 4. With razor sharp observational humour and a growing fanbase, Scott is the name everyone’s talking about.

Alun Cochrane: Has performed on shows such as Mock the Week and Michael McIntyre’s Comedy Roadshow. A master of storytelling and observational comedy, Alun brings his award winning style to the stage.

Duncan Oakley: Has won various awards for his laugh out loud comedy, including picking up the prestigious English Comedian of the Year award. Comedy meets music in Duncan’s hilarious, toe tapping routines that will leave you singing his songs for days.

Nina Gilligan: Has won plenty of plaudits for her performances, including a BBC Audio Award and Chortle Best Club Comedian in 2023. Outrageous, loveable, and razor sharp, Nina’s comedy is as bold as it is hilarious.
