Our series of Business Forums continues with its third session, this time with a focus on Health & Wellbeing Innovation.
It's no secret that Huddersfield is rapidly becoming the place to be when it comes to health & wellbeing innovation, with projects such as the National Health Innovation Campus, the recently announced West Yorkshire Health Innovation and Digital Tech Investment Zone, as well as a host of cutting-edge businesses large and small, creating opportunities for investment and growth unparalleled in our town.
One such enterprise is STADA Thornton & Ross, an innovative and growing pharmaceutical business with a proven track record of creating prosperity for our town, as well as its employees. We are proud to partner with STADA Thornton & Ross, who are generously sponsoring our third Business Forum.
As usual, our Business Forum is an opportunity to explore what's new at the cutting edge of health & wellbeing innovation in Huddersfield. No long PowerPoint presentations, just a few words from key guests; John Harman (Chair of Huddersfield Unlimited), Nigel Stephenson (General Manager for STADA Thornton & Ross), Prof Liz Towns-Andrews (NHIC project lead at the University of Huddersfield) and Chris Duffill (Head of Business, Economy and Growth at Kirklees Council).
It's no coincidence our Business Forum is being held in a marquee outside the Barbara Hepworth Building on the main University Campus. During the session, guests will have the opportunity to visit the STADA Expo (adjacent to the marquee), a temporary exhibit showcasing the very best of STADA's cutting-edge work in health & wellbeing innovation. If this weren't enough, you will also have the chance to be one of the first to enjoy an optional guided tour of the NHIC's brand new Daphne Steele building, led by the team who delivered the project from its inception. Two opportunities not to be missed!
The event kicks off at 4pm and closes at 6pm, with an optional 45 minute guided tour of the Daphne Steele building at 6.15pm (approx). Spaces are limited, with tickets for the tour more so, and must be booked separately via the booking page. Drinks and light bites will be available.
We look forward to seeing familiar faces and new on the 25th September!
