hcmf// Creative Summer School 2024
This summer, we are delighted to be partnering with Kirklees Council to offer exciting music-making opportunities for young people in school years 7-11. hcmf// Creative Summer School takes place at the University of Huddersfield for four week across July and August, with a range of activities based around working with sound.
hcmf// Creative Summer School is comprised of four distinct programmes, each designed to be attended as a two-day course. Young people are invited to participate in as many of the programmes as they would like. All the programmes provide an excellent opportunity to take part in hands-on, creative music-producing experiences led by industry professionals.
We are offering 10 places free of charge each week for young people in receipt of free school meals, and a handful of places for other high school pupils priced at £13.50 per course. All places include a hot lunch provided by the University of Huddersfield’s on-campus canteen.
