Huddersfield Lego Trail

The fabulous Huddersfield Lego Trail returns for 2022!

Brought to you by Huddersfield BID, this fun trail runs from the 1st to the 31st of August in Huddersfield town centre and is FREE to take part in.

Participants are challenged to find all 17 Lego sculptures hidden around Huddersfield town centre to be entered into a prize draw to win a HUGE lego set.

You can see the trail map by downloading the LoyalFree app on a smartphone. Then, to participate in the competition, scan each QR code using the app when you each lego model. 

The Lego Trail is a fantastic way to spend a morning or afternoon entertaining the kids whilst also picking up bargains in the town centre.

Green Head Park with a picnic

We can all agree that this recent sunny weather in Huddersfield has been glorious or making the most of outdoor spaces.

You won’t regret visiting Greenhead park for a picnic this summer. 

Huddersfield is blessed with this beautiful green space that is within walking distance of the town centre and just a 10-minute walk from all the Huddersfield transport hubs.

Your little ones will love to get involved in helping prepare the picnic. 

However, if you want to try something different, you could get a takeout from a town centre cafe and take it with you.

Don’t forget to pack a ball, frisbee, sun cream and a drink!

Visit Huddersfield Library

Huddersfield Library is located in the piazza centre in the town centre. The historic building is an excellent way to spend a few hours if you’re looking for a more relaxed activity during the summer. As well as traditional books, you can also borrow audiobooks and DVDs, so don’t be put off if your kids aren’t heavily into reading!
