An Easter egg hunt, created and promoted by Huddersfield BID (Business Improvement District), will encourage participants to find 10 big eggs around town.
Prizes will be available to those that manage to find every egg during the event which will run between the 3rd – 17th of April.
To take part participants will need to download the Loyal Free app to access the map with the hidden egg locations. At every location, a QR code will be placed near the egg, which participants can scan to mark the egg as found on their app.
Everyone who finds all 10 eggs through the app, will be entered into a prize draw to win £50, and all participants who complete the easter egg hunt will win an easter egg, which can be collected from Huddersfield BID’s office on Market Avenue upon completion.
The easter egg hunt creates a perfect opportunity for a fantastic free family day out in the town centre for all ages which in turn will lead to an increase in footfall throughout the town.
In regards to the event, Sam Sharp, Huddersfield BID manager comments,
“We hope that lots of children take part and as they journey around the town centre, they will spot the wonderful brightly coloured giant eggs which are hidden in shops and places to visit around the town. Don’t forget to collect your prize once you’ve spotted all of them!”
“We run a number of interactive trails throughout the year to encourage footfall into the town centre, and engage shoppers into visiting stores they might not have been in yet.”
Make sure to download the Loyal Free app and get ready to hunt down the eggs!
