Active Huddersfield

For our physical and mental wellbeing, it’s important that we all try to make sure we build a bit of physical activity into our daily lives.

It’s widely accepted that being physically active supports positive health and wellbeing and contributes significantly to people being healthy, feeling better and living well for longer.  As well as reducing the risk of developing health conditions such as stroke, Type 2 Diabetes, heart disease, cancer, dementia, and Alzheimer’s, being active also promotes good mental and emotional wellbeing.

Huddersfield is a great place to be active, with a huge number of opportunities to suit all tastes and encourage local people and visitors to the town to exercise.
